While it’s not the most affordable compact SUV on the market, there’s no denying that it’s one of the most fun vehicles to drive -especially during the summer months.

Regardless of whether you prefer a soft top or a hard top, many auto writers agree that the Wrangler has a basic, functional, and no-frills interior; however, it’s worth noting that this is something that Jeep has refined more in the recent years. While the Wrangler has the same features which are commonly found on many other rival SUVs – Power windows, door locks, and air conditioning – it has also included options such as leather, navigation, and heated front seats. Additionally, reviewers agree that there is plenty of headroom and visibility in the front seats.

Getting down to the basics of the vehicle, we see that the 2013 Wrangler is still one of the top dogs. The V6 engine comes standard across the Jeep Wrangler lineup and there’s no doubting the fact that this vehicle offers plenty of power. The two-door Wrangler also gets an EPA-estimated 17/21 mpg city/highway. Along with these numbers being on the low side compared to other rival compact SUV’s, the safety and reliability scores are also a bit low for the class.
